Michael D. Odom, Jr’s Biography
Apostle Michael D. Odom, Jr. is a native of Albany, Georgia and is married to the lovely Isha Vonnelle Mitchell of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Together, they parent five adult children, and have been blessed with three grandsons and two granddaughters.
Apostle Odom was educated in the Dougherty County School System, and later graduated from Tri-Cities High School in College Park, Georgia. Other educational accomplishments include: Agape Divinity School of Practical Ministry, Okinawa-Japan (2001), School of Evangelism, Mercy Street Ministries (2002), undergraduate courses with Oral Roberts University (2002), Bachelor of Art Degree in Computer Studies, University of Maryland (2006) and a Certificate in School of Deliverance, Warfare Academy (2007), Master of Art in Theological Studies, Liberty University (2009), Honorary Doctorate of Ministry from Saint Thomas Christian University and Theological Seminary (2010). Currently, he is enrolled at Bakke Graduate University, pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Transformational Leadership.
Apostle Odom’s ministry credentials include: Licensed Minister, Agape Fellowship Ministry International (2001), Ordained Elder, Agape Fellowship Ministry International (2002), Ordained and Installed as Pastor (2004). Apostle Odom was affirmed to the office of Apostle in 2008 by an Apostolic Counsel under the leadership of Apostle B. J. Gatlin, Gift of Life Conference of Churches, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
In April 2003, Pastor Odom founded Agape Deliverance Center, Inc., which was renamed to Agape Christian Worship Center (ACWC) Inc. ACWC had humble beginnings when Pastor Odom, his wife Isha, and their three children, begin services in a local hotel conference room. Eight months later, Pastor Odom led the relocation of the small congregation to their own church facility. With consistent growth, the church purchased 32 acres of land and have planned efforts to develop a community.
In 2008, Apostle Odom established Agape Community Development Corporation (ACDC), a non-profit organization. ACDC is a community development initiative designed to provide a solution for Albany’s transformation through economic empowerment, professional services, education alternative, and quality living.
From a professional standpoint, Apostle Odom retired as a United States Marine Corps Master Sergeant June 2010. His Military Occupational Specialty was Communication/System Information Chief, and he achieved several Information Technology (IT) certifications and certificates: Microsoft Certified System Engineer NT, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), CompTIA A+, Security Plus, and Network Plus.
As an entrepreneur, Apostle Odom partnered with his wife Isha to establish M. I. Properties Investment Group and Agape Moving and Cleaning Services. In addition, he uses his IT expertise to support surrounding businesses and individual network and computer requirements.
As quoted by Apostle Odom, “It’s the grace of God to enable and send us to do what we are doing.” His personal mandate includes raising up a generation of world changers and end-time reformers.
Isha V. Odom’s Biography
Prophet Isha V. Odom is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. Prophet Odom accepted Christ under the ministry of Apostle Bernell J. Gatlin, Gift of Life Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2001, she began ministering the Gospel, and in 2003, she co-founded Agape Christian Worship Center in Albany, Georgia with her husband Apostle Michael D. Odom, Jr. Currently, Prophet Odom serves as Senior Leader for the local church, and founder of Isha Odom Ministries, INC.
Understanding her Godly assignment, Prophet Odom emphatically enforces the unadulterated Word of God through her preaching and teaching in various settings: conferences, churches, seminars, and workshops. Prophet Odom’s deep-seated passion is that the body of Christ will experience transformation, reformation, and impartation.
Prophet Odom is highly gifted and dynamic in facilitating Intercessory Prayer, training Prophetic Teams, Church Management, Leadership Development, and much more. The soundness of her ministry and earnest desire to equip people has crossed denominational and cultural barriers, generating a demand in the United States and Africa.
Beyond the pulpit, Isha is an entrepreneur, investor, and licensed Realtor. She is the co-owner of Agape Moving and Cleaning Services and M.I. Properties Investment Group. Isha is also is a certified John C. Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker, and is licensed to teach several of John C. Maxwell’s curricula.
Isha was educated in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. She earned a Bachelor of Theology from Sacramento Theological Seminary School in 1999, a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the University of Maryland University College in 2005, and Master of Art in Public Administration from University of Phoenix in July 2015.
