PASTOR MICHAEL ODOM

VISIONARY LEADER

In April 2003, Pastor Odom founded Agape Deliverance Center, Inc., which was renamed to Agape Christian Worship Center (ACWC) Inc. ACWC had humble beginnings when Pastor Odom, his wife Isha, and children began services in a local hotel conference room. Eight months later, Pastor Odom led the relocation of the small congregation to their own church facility. With consistent growth, the church purchased 32 acres of land and have planned efforts to develop a community. This tract of land is debt-free. In April 2017, Agape celebrated their new worship facility.

In 2008, Pastor Odom established Agape Community Development Corporation (ACDC), a non-profit organization. ACDC is a community development initiative designed to provide a solution for Albany’s transformation through economic empowerment, professional services, education alternative, and quality living.


ACCOMPLISHED INFLUENCER

Pastor Odom’s ministry credentials include: Licensed Minister, Agape Fellowship Ministry International (2001), Ordained Elder, Agape Fellowship Ministry International (2002), Ordained and Installed as Pastor (2004). Pastor Odom was affirmed to the office of Pastor in 2008 by an Apostolic Council under the leadership of Pastor B.J. Gatlin, Gift of Life Conference of Churches, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Michael is also a member of the International Council of Apostolic Leaders (ICAL), and the United States Council of Apostolic Leaders (USCAL).

EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS

He was educated in the Dougherty County School System, and later graduated from Tri-Cities High School in College Park, Georgia. Other educational accomplishments include:  Agape Divinity School of Practical Ministry, Okinawa-Japan (2001), School of Evangelism, Mercy Street Ministries (2002), undergraduate courses with Oral Roberts University (2002), Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Studies, University of Maryland (2006) and a Certificate in School of Deliverance, Warfare Academy (2007), Master of Arts in Theological Studies, Liberty University (2009), Honorary Doctorate of Ministry from Saint Thomas Christian University and Theological Seminary (2010).  Currently, Apostle is a Doctorate of Transformational Leadership Candidate at Bakke Graduate University.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE

Michael retired as a United States Marine Corps Master Sergeant in June 2010. His Military Occupational Specialty was Communication/System Information Chief, and he achieved several Information Technology (IT) certifications and certificates: Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), CompTIA A+, Security Plus, and Network Plus. Michael served as a Federal Government supervisor for several years as a Data Center Manager. As an entrepreneur, Michael and Isha created M. I. Properties Investment Group, INC. 


Michael and Isha parent 6 adult children and have 8 grandchildren. They have been married for 26 years and reside in Leesburg, Georgia
